The Battifarano farm winery has been owned by their family for more than five centuries of land cultivation. The starting point of the visual identity design was the ancient books that the Battifarano company has in its archive. Books that belonged to their ancestors and date back almost to the time of the invention of printing process. We have decided to bring to the public a part of this huge treasure of typography and ancient illustrations through the labels of the wines that the Battifarano company produces.
