Politecnico di Bari - Industrial Design
Branding Design course
The course is built around a clear goal: guiding students toward an understanding of the brand as spirit, vision, and cultural stance—far beyond its reduction to a logo or a graphic mark. Over the course of an intensive semester-long project, students engaged in a full branding experience, starting with field research aimed at identifying a truly iconic Apulian street food business.
From there, each project evolved through the creation of a brand and visual identity from scratch, connecting context, visual language, tone of voice, and contemporary imagery. The course actively encouraged experimentation, risk-taking, and at times even a deliberately irreverent approach, pushing students beyond the safe and didactic boundaries of traditional Apulian cuisine.
What: research, branding, logo design, visual identity, photography, editorial, illustration
